US black metallers WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM have been confirmed for DAMNATION 2022, having been forced to cancel their co-headline appearance at this year’s festival.
Also added to next year’s event, taking place in Manchester, is BELL WITCH and AERIAL RUIN collaboration STYGIAN BOUGH and IRIST, who’ll be making their first trip to UK shores.
Damnation organiser Gavin McInally said: “To be able to secure both our planned 2021 headliners, Wolves in the Throne Room and Pig Destroyer, to play in 2022 with the likes of Ministry, Converge and Destruction is a huge deal for Damnation, and we hope our fans too, as we make our way into a daunting arena setting.
“Stygian Bough and Irist were two other sore losses from this year’s bill that we’re very pleased to have confirmed again. Almost one third of tickets are now gone for our return to Manchester and we have plenty more to offer before this line-up is complete.”
