The bonkers genius of Ron & Russell Mael makes a welcome return with a new Sparks album ‘Hippopotamus’ set to be released on 8th September. Look out for dates at Nottingham’s Rock City and Birmingham Institute in September too.

Snakecharmer – That Kind Of Love

Snakecharmer serve up quality old school classic rock on their hotly anticipated sophomore album ‘Second Skin’ which is released through Frontiers on May 12th.

Semblant – IncinerateĀ 

‘Incinerate’ first appeared on the Brazilian metal band’s 2014 album ‘Lunar Manifesto’, however it’s been dusted down and given a brand new video this month.

Black Stone Cherry – Cheaper To Drink AloneĀ 

A new video taken from Black Stone Cherry’s 2016 album ‘Kentucky’. Look out for the cameo appearances!

Boston – Don’t Look Back

Sad to hear that former Boston drummer John ‘Sib’ Hashian passed away on 22nd March. He played on Boston’s debut album and their second album ‘Don’t Look Back’.

Chuck Berry – Johnny B Goode

One of the founding fathers of Rock N Roll who passed away on 18th March. So many of his songs became rock n roll standards and were covered by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Electric Light Orchestra, Status Quo, Judas Priest, Dave Edmunds, Bryan Adams and Motorhead to name but a few.
