Tarja – No Bitter End
A track taken from from Tarja’s forthcoming album ‘The Brightest Void’, once again released on 3rd June! ‘The Brightest Void’ is described as a ‘prequel’ album with a further album ‘The Shadow Self’ set for release in August.
Gojira – Stranded
From the forthcoming album by the French heavy metal band entitled ‘Magma’ which is due for release on 17th June.
OTEP – In Cold Blood
A new video from the California outfit’s recently released album ‘Generation Doom’.
Inglorious – Holy Water
A bit of stripped down blues from the band’s self titled debut album. Inglorious play the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham and Bilton’s Robin2 in June.

Prince – Gold
This week we lost a legend. A unique songwriter, producer, arranger, singer and multi instrumentalist. Prince was also an outstanding guitarist and, as anyone who saw him live will testify, an electrifying live performer. Artistically bold and incredibly prolific he straddled rock, pop, blues, funk, soul, dance and R&B without once diluting his own distinctive sound. In tribute, here’s a track from ‘The Gold Experience’ – a tour he brought to Birmingham NEC in 1995.
