Esoteric, ominous and essential…

Unleashed upon the world by Iron Bonehead Productions on 27 May 2016 and approached with a feeling of unease by Jason Guest

Together just long enough to write and record this release before immediately splitting in 2010, Greek duo Seventh Xul left us with but two astonishing tracks. Featuring Acherontas (of, erm, Acherontas) on vocals and N.E.C.R.O. (of Burial Hordes, Enshadowed, Merciless Crucifixion and many more) on all else, the idea behind this collaboration was to create “something different from their standard ways of expression”. Needless to say they achieved much more than that. With two ethereal tracks of such esoteric depth and ominous might left to us, what they may have accomplished had they continued remains a fantasy. But if this is all we will ever hear from Seventh Xul, it’ll more than suffice. Just about. Absolutely essential.
