JD and the FDC’s was the one I found difficult to leave out, good to see it included by Harry and Tony :)
Oh yes I must also mention Stolen Earth – A Far Cry From Home which is truly wonderful !
1. Captain Horizon – Lights of Distorted Science
2. Absolva – Flames of Justice
3. Tygers of Pan Tang – Ambush
4. JD and the FDCs – Recognise
5. The Idol Dead – Dark Little Hearts
Actually a bit unfair as I could have permed 5 out of 20 for thios list. There have been some awesome albums released this year. Honorable mentions must go to Babylon Fire – Dark Horizons, Jettblack – Raining Rock, Hanging Doll – The Sacred and Profane, Fahran – S/T and Accept – Stalingrad.
1. A Forest Of Stars – A Shadowplay For Yesterdays
2. Captain Horizon – The Lights Of Distorted Science
3. Rush – Clockwork Angels
4. Storm Corrosion – Storm Corrosion
5. Ginger – 555%
Should have included Adrenaline Mob and Van Halen… but who to leave out? Exactly.
oh and Shinedown!
Enjoyed Threshold, some good stuff on there and Devin missed my top slot by a riff but Storm Corrosion bored the tits off me sadly, maybe I just need to be in the right ‘Head Space’ or choose a different elevator!
1. Threshold – March Of Progress
2. Devin Townsend – Epicloud
3. Storm Corrosion – Storm Corrosion
4. Gojira – L’enfant Sauvage
5. Therion – Les Fleurs Du Mal
Varied & odd selection as usual.
