Legendary British AOR-sters FM have inked a deal with Frontiers Records for the release of their forthcoming album due in spring/summer 2015. The band have stated that the next year looks set to be their busiest yet with plenty of live shows – if that’s not a hint that they will be on a plane to Milan next spring to play Frontiers Festival I don’t know what is!
Popular Swedish pop rockers H.E.A.T have just announced a second leg to their 2014 European tour in support of their latest album Tearing Down The Walls. They play Wolverhampton Slade Rooms on the 14th December which is one of only four dates in the UK.
The delightful Lenna Kuurmaa and her awesome Moonland project have released a second official video – this time for the cracking ‘Open Your Heart’, enjoy it below!
Greek AOR-sters Wild Rose have unleashed their first video to promote their new album Hit and Run (Read Paul Birch’s review here) which is out on October 13th. Check out ‘Through The Night’ here.
UK melodic metallers Neonfly will release their highly anticipated second album Strangers In Paradise On December 1st.
Popular UK Melodic hard rockers Jettblack have postponed their October UK tour. So the revised date for their show at The Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton is Sunday 15th February.
Melodic Rocker Michael Riesenbeck has started a fan funded album campaign via Kickstarter. The album entitled II will be released shortly after the campaign is completed and will feature guest appearances from lots of known musicians from the world of melodic rock including Tony Mills, Danny Danzi and keyboardist Frederik Bergh. You want another super group I hear you cry? What No? Well tough shit here’s Rated X! The All Star Hard Rock Line Up Includes vocalist Joe Lynn Turner; drummer Carmine Appice; bassist Tony Franklin and guitarist Karl Cochran. Their self titled album will be released via Frontiers Records on November 7th. Songs to be included are ‘This Is Who I Am’, ‘I Don’t Cry No More’, ‘Maybe Tonight’ and ‘Our Love Is Not Over’.

Crazy Lixx will release their fourth and self titled album in November via Frontiers Records. It’ll include songs like ‘Outlaw’, ‘Girls Of the ‘80’s’, ‘All Looks, No Hooks’ and ‘Wrecking Ball Crew’.
The country rock project Dark Horse is the baby of legendary melodic rocker Paul Laine. They recently released their debut album Let It Ride in the UK and also unleashed a second video for the song ‘You Were The One (I Waited For)’ to promote it. Midlands melodic rockers Lawless are about to release their second album R.I.S.E following the success of their debut album Rock Savage. It will be released on November 21st via Escape Music, Lawless are planning lots of live shows so keep your eyes peeled over the coming months. They have already announced they will be supporting Pat McManus at The Robin on the 21st October.
As previously reported British melodic hard rockers TEN have a new album out in November. They have also announced two new guitarists completing their line-up – Dan Rosingana and Staffie Steve Grocott who some may remember from Midlands AOR-sters Seven Dayz. They have updated their website so check it out and they have revealed the track listing for Albion which includes the following songs ‘Alone In The Dark Tonight’, ‘Sometimes Love Takes The Long Way Round’, ‘It Ends This Day’ and ‘Die For Me’.
Classic UK NWOBHM act Praying Mantis have inked a deal with Frontiers Records to release a new album at some point in 2015. In addition, Frontiers will be releasing a batch of the band’s back catalogue around the same time.
Frontiers have also announced they are working with Angel front man Frank Dimino on a new upcoming solo album.
HRH AOR 2015 will feature a Sleaze stage and they have announced seven bands that will feature including headliners Hardcore Superstar, Crashdiet, Sister, The Wild Lies, Falling Red, States Of Panic and Heartbreak Remedy. The Festival takes place next March 12th-15th in North Wales. Accommodation has sold out but day tickets are now available – check the official website for full details.
In addition to the sleaze stage a further five acts have been added to the standard AOR line-up, Serpentine, Angels Or Kings, Shaft Of Steel, Euphoria Audio and Exile.
The highly anticipated re-issue of the much sought after debut album from Teri Tims will finally see the light of day via Z Records following a few delays in late October. It’s about time, but well worth the wait!
Z Records have also been teasing us with a new super-group CODA very little information has been given about the band as things stand. It has been announced they are currently recording and their debut album will see the light of day in February/March 2015, tracks to be included are ‘We Will Survive’ and ‘Let’s Give A Cheer’.
Female fronted Swede’s Nubian Rose will release their second album Mental Revolution on November 24th via Cargo/Livewire Records. Tracks that will be included are ‘Break Out’, ‘Higher’, ‘You Will Never Walk Alone’ and ‘All Of Your Love’.
British songwriter Nigel Bailey, front man of Three Lions will finally have his solo album released on December 5th via Frontiers Records. Under the moniker Bailey the album will be called Long Way Down and will feature the first single ‘In The Name Of The King’ and ‘Stay’.
