HRH AOR 4 which will take place next March 10th-13th at Hafan Y Mor in North Wales has announced the first batch of bands. For me this is a pretty solid first announcement – a UK exclusive from Quiet Riot which now features Jizzy Pearl on lead vocals, genre legend Joe Lynn Turner, the ever popular Tyketto, former Guns and Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, Dan Reed Network have finally agreed to perform and they will definitely be one of my most anticipated acts of the weekend, song writing legend Russ Ballard who will surely provide a unique set of hits and The Quireboys wrap up the first set of bands announced for the main stage. Dimino have released an EPK to promote the album Old Habits Die Hard due out in July on Frontiers Records.
Veronica Freeman has a new project ready to be release this July. The debut album from The V Now Or Never will be released via Frontiers Records. It sees Freeman moving away from her usual metal comfort zone into a more melodic hard rock sound and tracks to be included are ‘L.O.V.E’, ‘Line In The Sand’, ‘Kiss My Lips’ and ‘Ready To Run’.

Australian pop rockers The Radio Sun will release their new album ‘Heaven or Heartbreak’ via MelodicRock Records.
Legendary Hanoi Rocks front man Michael Monroe will release his all new solo album Blackout States via Spinefarm Records in October.
Legion front man Phil Vincent has announced his departure from the band. The band gave us 7 albums in five years, but Vincent has decided to step away from the band to concentrate on other future projects.
MelodicRockRecords will release the new album from Vindictiv entitled World Of Fear which features Mark Boals on vocals.
Exciting rising New York melodic rockers Station have released a new video for the track ‘With Me Tonight’ check it out below. I’m really enjoying this old school melodic rock track, and will be getting my hands on their debut album sharp-ish.
Ever evolving Northern Irish metaller Stormzone return with Seven Sins which will be released shortly and will include the following tracks ‘Another Rainy Night’, ‘The One That Got Away’, ‘I Know Your Pain’ and ‘You’re Not The Same’. They will announce tour dates supporting Saxon soon.
Do you remember Valerie? They released a rather good album back in 2012; well they are back with a new album. Young Hunger was released on May 30th on Demon Doll records, the new album will feature the tracks ‘Night After Night’, ‘Love & Affection’, ‘The Last Time’ and ‘Dance (Heart to Heart)’.

Guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani will release his 15th solo album Shockwave Supernova on July 24th. It will include the following tracks ‘Lost In A Memory’, ‘In My Pocket’, ‘All My Life’ and ‘If There Is No Heaven’.
Constancia will release their new album Final Curtain on July 10th on MelodicRock Records.
New UK outfit Edge Of The Blade will release their debut album in July on the Escape Music Record label. The band features ex Shy drummer Alan Kelly and After Hours vocalist John Francis. The album will feature the following tracks ‘Vital Signs’, ‘Everything I Own’, ‘River Runs Red’ and ‘Down On My Knees’.
Super Group The Winery Dogs have entered the studio to record the follow up to the acclaimed debut album! It will be interesting to hear if Ritchie Kotzen, Billy Sheehan and Mike Portnoy can recreate the magic that made the debut album such an enjoyable one.
Infamous Runaways front woman Cherie Currie is touring the UK this autumn for the first time in 35 years and she will be making an appearance at The Robin in Bilston on 17th November. Looking forward to this as it could turn out to be a rare and unique performance from a rock n roll legend!
Gotthard are releasing an official live bootleg album Live and Bangin’. It’ll feature some of the following tracks ‘Bang!’, ‘Feel What I Feel’, ‘Lift You Up’ and ‘Anytime Anywhere’.

Motley Crue have announced their final UK dates ever just ahead of their performance at this year’s Download. They’ll be bringing along Alice Cooper as support and one of the final four shows will be at The Genting Arena in Birmingham (AKA the NEC!) on November 4th. I suspect tickets for this will go fast and be been sold for crazy money via the dirty robbing ‘legal’ ticket touts within minutes!

Birmingham based AOR rockers Corvus have just released their debut album Chasing Miracles on Lynchburg Records. They are also rehearsing hard for their debut live show at the Midlands Rocks presents show on July 16th at The Robin in Bilston. I’m personally very excited about seeing these guys perform and even happier to know a couple of my personal favourites will be in the set. I also found out that they will be filming a second video soon for their next single ‘When You Love Someone’ so keep an eye out for that!

I stumbled across the news that cult Swedish AOR rockers Roulette have reformed and have just released this deliciously awesome video for their new song ‘Secret Room’. I’m loving it, crank it up and grab your air keytar’s!
Skin & Bone have just released their debut album Revenge and you can watch the video for their first track lifted from it ‘Let It Rain’ below. Skin & Bone will also be playing the Highway To Hell show in Sheffield, which is a sort of battle of the bands and can lead to slots at future Hard Rock Hell events.
The Tubes featuring vocalist Fee Waybill hit the UK road to celebrate their 40th anniversary this summer. In the Midlands they’ll be performing at The Robin 2 in Wolverhampton on August 13th.
Popular Swedish hard rockers Coldspell have signed with British production company Sun Hill. They play a Festival headline set at Scottish Festival Wildfire this summer before heading back into the studio to record their new album.
The release of the second Watchmen album has been pushed back to July 17th on Z Records. You can check out the video for the album title track ‘Nowhere to Hide’ below.
