House Of Lords will become Indestructible in June when they release their tenth album on Frontiers Records. It will feature tracks such as ‘Go To Hell’, ‘We Will Always Be One’, ‘Die To Tell’ and ‘Stand and Deliver’.
German vocalist Michael Bormann, who many associate with cult melodic rock heroes Jaded Heart returns with a new solo album Closer on May 22nd. This album follows Bormann’s appearance on the German version of The Voice in which he received acclaim for his version of ‘Warrior’ which saw him progress to the knock out stages.

Skid Row have parted company with vocalist Johnny Solinger and in shock news he’s replaced by – and who saw this coming seriously! – Tony Harnell (TNT). Following this shock announcement, my favourite facebook post was from brummie vocalist Tony Mills whom some had contacted thinking he was the new Skid Row vocalist – although Mills did front TNT for a time, he is most definitley the wrong Tony!

Def Leppard and Whitesnake have teamed up for a joint headline tour of the UK this December including a date at the NEC (Genting Arena pffttt…) in Birmingham on Saturday 12th ! They’ll have Black Star Riders opening for them on all dates!
Birmingham based pure AORster’s Corvus will release their cebut album Chasing Miracles on June 1st via Lynchburg Records. You can sample the video for their first single below, the title track ‘Chasing Miracles’.

Ten are set to release their new album Isla De Muerta in May on Rocktopia Records. The album follows hot on the heals of Albion which was release late last year on the same label garnering much critical acclaim and public approval as the band return to the sound of their earlier albums.
Record label AOR Heaven will re-release two extremely hard to get hold of Drive She Said albums the self titled debut and Drivin Wheel. Linear notes are written by respected journalist Dave Reynolds.
Mike Tramp has please many longstanding fans by returing to a full band sound on his forthcoming album Nomad which will be released in August.
Nelson are back too with a new album Peace Out to be released via Frontiers Records in May. It will feature the following tracks ‘Hello Everybody’, ‘Invincible’, ‘I Wanna Stay Home’ and ‘Bad For You’.

I’ve never hidden my love of female vocalist’s so it was a real treat when Lotta Lene’s album Smoke and Mirror’s landed in my inbox. A delightful collection of old school melodic rock songs sung with strong dynamic female lead vocals. Definitley one all Melodic Rockers should give a listen to.
