
With debut album Our Father structured around Milton’s literary masterpiece Paradise Lost, it was no surprise to see The King Is Blind breathing fire and brimstone across the Damnation disciples. Paul Castles caught up with frontman Steve Tovey backstage at Leeds University to share a bowl of Suffolk punch. .
“We spent a year working on the album. It a concept album and we wanted to make sure the story flowed. It’s the story of God versus Satan, telling the story from different perspectives. With everything going on in the world it’s easy to see that people generally aren’t nice to each other.”
