We Are The Ocean are pleased to announce their biggest headline UK tour to date. The band already announced a headline show in London at Koko earlier this year but they’ll now be doing a full national tour to support the release of their latest, and greatest, album ‘Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow’
The band have just wrapped up an intimate club tour across the UK and Europe where they’ve stepped back into venues they’ve not played in years. Come February We Are The Ocean will be proving to everybody why they’re the most exciting young rock band to emerge out of the UK. The Essex boys will be stepping onto stages they’ve visited as a support band in the past but this is their time to prove why they were born to grace these venues as the main attraction. Recent singles ‘Bleed’ and ‘The Road’ have received enormous national radio play being supported at Radio 1 on the stations B-list as well as XFM and Kerrang Radio. The songs taken from their latest album are without doubt their boldest, biggest and most exciting yet!
The rest of 2012 is by no means going to go by quietly. On October 22nd the band will perform as part of Radio 1’s Rock Week alongside Biffy Clyro, Bullet For My valentine, You Me At Six and Twin Atlantic. They will then head back out on the road with Lostprophet’s before seeing out the year at Wembley Arena supporting You Me At Six.
2013 is going to kick off with a bang and these headline shows are going to make winter a very exciting time for the young band. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for a new single and a new video in the coming weeks. This band are showing no signs of slowing down any time soon!
Tickets for the tour will go on sale to o2 customers (Academy shows only) on TUESDAY 16th OCTOBER and then on general sale on FRIDAY 19th OCTOBER. London KOKO is ALREADY ON SALE.
