Jo Harman – When We Were Young
One of the albums I’m looking forward to this year is ‘People We Become’, the follow up to 2013’s ‘Dirt On My Tongue’ from UK blues/soul singer Jo Harman. This cool and funky track features Michael McDonald on backing vocals.
Dan Reed Network – Champion
A fine track taken from the band’s latest album ‘Fight Another Day’. Catch the band on tour during March when they play Bilston’s Robin2 (12th March) and Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms (15th March).
Graham Bonnet Band – Rider
Former Rainbow vocalist Graham Bonnet has unveiled a new video to ‘Rider’. The track is taken from the 2016 Graham Bonnet Band album ‘The Book’.
Rose Redd – Crying Out (Video)
It was my pleasure to review Rose Redd’s show at the Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton in 2014 at the launch of ‘The Healing’ EP. She’s now based in Bristol and this single is taken from her forthcoming EP.

Status Quo – Mystery Song
I don’t really want to look back to an awful year that is best off forgotten but I couldn’t let this post past without paying tribute to Rick Parfitt. I grew up on Quo’s music and I had many, many great nights at Quo gigs up and down the country. Rick was one of my boyhood heroes and I’ll miss him. R.I.P mate…
