The Raven Age announce ‘Conspiracy’ for March

The Raven Age have their upcoming album Conspiracy will be released March 8th, via their own record label Corvid Records and to support the release they will be heading off on their biggest UK/European headline tour to date throughout March and April.

With this news, the band have also shared their new track ‘Fleur De Lis’. It’s a guitar heavy belter, with big vocal melodies!

This is the third song ft. new vocalist Matt James, who joined George Harris (guitar), Tony Maue (guitar), Matt Cox (bass) and Jai Patel (drums) earlier this year. They’ve really progressed since their 2017 debut, sonically and also on the live stages, with the upcoming album showing more diversity in their sound and songwriting.

The record takes a lot of inspiration from their interest in historical myths and conspiracies. Lyrically the tracks tell stories of desperation and inhumanity throughout different periods of time, delving into the lives and experiences of people from years ago and leads on from where Darkness Will Rise left off. From the artwork to the lyrics they’ve created something more than just a record, but instead an artistic, conceptual identity as they set to write their own legacy.
