The Jim Jones Revue announce new single ‘It’s Gotta Be About Me’

The Jim Jones Revue will release their new single It’s Gotta Be About Me on October 1st on Play It Again Sam / Punk Rock Blues Records, on download and 7” vinyl formats. The debut release from their upcoming studio album The Savage Heart (out 15th October), It’s Gotta Be About Me is also the album’s thunderous opening track.
It’s Gotta Be About Me — an intense track that builds to exploding climax — was produced by Jim Sclavunos (of Grinderman/Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) and mixed by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys/DJ Shadow). The single comes backed by an exclusive non-album B-side, the glam-infused Rompah Stompah, recorded at The Chapel in Lincolnshire and mixed at Edwyn Collins’s West Heath Yard Studios in London.
