The Hobgoblin New Blood Stage plays host to some incredible new talent at Bloodstock. Among those performing there this year were Scars of Remembrance.
The hardcore crew secured their golden ticket to Catton Park when winning the Wrexham leg of the Metal 2 The Masses competition.
In the finest traditions of Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God, the five-piece mix melody with rasping rhythmic aggression.
And the Welsh wizards put on a show to remember inside the New Blood tent with vocalist Mike spending almost as much time climbing the speaker stacks and navigating his way through a jaw-dropped crowd as he did actually on the stage (see photos below).
Once the excitement had died down, Mike, along with Scars guitarist Harris, spoke to Paul Castles about the experience and their new release ‘Shattered Wings’, at a very windswept press area backstage .
