Roy Wood’s Rockmas returns to Symphony Hall…

ROCKMAS comes but once a year, with a seasonal sack of Roy Wood’s greatest hits and more.

Personal message from Roy:

“It’s nearly time again for ROCKMAS 2019.

You may be wondering where the devil that last 12 months has disappeared to. How the heck do I know? I can only confirm that this year’s ROCKMAS will be yet another really entertaining and pleasant evening.

We have The Climax Blues Band opening up our festivities.

An extremely popular band, especially with major festival audiences in Europe. They will be gracing our Birmingham stage, playing their solid jazz and blues style, with great musicianship.

Our new ROCKMAS friend Mari Wilson will sing as our special guest this year. I appeared on a TV show with Mari a couple of years ago, and she still has that great distinctive voice.

Mick Miller will also be chatting to you, with his uniquely dry and funny outlook on life. Orchestral elegance with their usual flair. Enigma Strings will be joining us again this year.

As you will probably appreciate, Christmas is always a busy time for Muzo friends of the band to commit themselves to a performance, but who knows who could possibly turn up?

I really hope to see you there.”
