Anyone who fondly remembers South American AOR rockers N.O.W’s debut album Forces of Nature will be very excited to hear that their follow up album Bohemian Kingdom will be released at the end of March via Escape Music. I’m definitely looking forward to this one as Phillip Bardowell is a fantastic vocalist! I believe the band’s main man Alec Mendonca, has assembled a new group of musicians as he strives for the sound he desires, but popular American Bardowell remains firmly as the voice of the band!

Check out the new video from Australian’s De La Cruz for ‘Cherry Bomb’. The track is lifted from their upcoming album Street Level on Frontiers Records and is to be released in March.

In my last round up, I told you about the forthcoming Beauvoir / Free show at Wolverhampton Slade Rooms. I can now confirm this will be one of only four UK gigs and it will be an acoustic show. It Takes place at Wolvo Slade Rooms on the 10th April! This will be the first time to catch Free and Beauvoir onstage together in the UK since 1994!

Ralph Santolla has revealed on facebook that he and Shane French are writing a new Millennium album! I’m not sure who will be on vocals and although I’d like to see Todd Plant back in the fold, Jorn who recorded the Hourglass album with them would be a popular choice, although it seems it may be a NEW front man altogether. I’m really intrigued to hear how this one comes out as it’s great to have Santolla back in more melodic territory after playing with Deicide and Obituary for almost a decade!

New British melodic rockers Rage Of Angels have a new video for their track ‘Over & Over’, the song is lifted from their recently released album Dreamworld.

British AOR favourites FM have released their first video from their album Rockville which hits the streets on March 11th. The song is the album’s opening cut ‘Tough Love’ and it see’s the guys back with a bang, enjoy the video.

Last year saw the 25th anniversary of FM’s debut album Indiscreet and to celebrate the band performed a couple of special shows featuring all the songs from that album. The shows were filmed in Manchester and London and a DVD has been compiled called simply ‘Indiscreet 25 Live’. The DVD will be out on April 1st and I’m sure this will be on every FM fans must own list!

In more related FM news, anyone who has pre-ordered the new FM album via their pledge campaign will be aware the band had on offer a special 2 disc version, with the bonus disc of all new songs cleverly entitled Rockville 2. Well given the success of the pre-sales the band have decided to give the album its own release and it will be available from the merch desk throughout the tour and also via retailers from the 25th March.

We all know Y&T tour virtually every year here in the UK. The band also likes to play the same venues, especially if a fan base has been built there. So they played JB’s in Dudley for about six years on the bounce, after its closure they moved to The Slade Rooms for two years. Much to my surprise the band have decided to give The Robin in Bilston a chance this year, I’m sure this will be met extremely positively from established fans! I know I’ll be looking forward to seeing their first show at The Robin!
