Latest Announcements for Bloodstock

BOA poster 30 May 2017Nine more bands announced and loads more Club night dates across the country with chances to win tickets

With just 10 more weekends to go before Catton Hall once again becomes Metal Mecca, things are starting to shape up nicely. M2TM Finals are coming thick and fast, with Simon Hall dashing all over the place picking bands to play on the New Blood Stage. Meanwhile Bloodstock HQ have announced the bands for the ever popular Thursday Party Night.

The honour of opening up BOA 2017 this year goes to Scottish Prog Metallers Ramage Inc., graduates of the New Blood Stage and M2TM winners. The other three bands that will be supporting headliners Battle Beast are Doom pranksters Gurt, some Black Metal from The Infernal Sea and the drink-a-long folk metal of Wind Rose from Italy.

Also announced for the SOPHIE Stage are Birmingham Thrash giants Eradikator, who along with The One Hundred and Florence Black will appear on the Saturday. Meanwhile the groovy stoner riffs of Morasses of Molasses will be gracing the SOPHIE Stage on the Friday. These guys proved to be a big draw when they played on the Jaeger stage in 2015.

Wrapping up today’s band announcements is the inclusion of Puppy, who play on the SOPHIE Stage on the Sunday.

As usual, Bloodstock is teaming up with the best Metal Nightclubs in the country and there will be themed nights throughout June and July with loads of goodies and ticket give aways. Check out the list for the clubs near you, go and bang your heads and maybe win some tickets to the best Metal Festival around
