Interview with Virginia Monti of Psychedelic Witchcraft

Simply Spellbinding…

For me music is about honesty, talking to a generation, that’s why I love those 60s and 70s artists such as Jim Morrison, Janice Joplin and Jimi Hendrix – the most amazing gift as an artist is not about album sales, it’s when people message me to say they can really relate to my music.

Those gathered in Leeds for Damnation Festival last month were treated to a plethora of magnificent acts from around the planet. One of those who made a real impression on the day was the vibrant Italian outfit Psychedelic Witchcraft, who performed a selection of tracks from their inspired new album Sound of the Wind. Before they took to the stage, charismatic singer and the band’s dark witch Virginia Monti, took a step back from her bubbling cauldron to find time to speak with Midlands Rocks’ very own Paul Castles.
