Goo Goo Dolls today launched a new video for “Lost”. “The song reminds me that we all make mistakes and lose the plot of our own stories sometimes” explains singer John Rzeznik. “We get distracted with the cheap, shiny, sights and sounds of a world in disarray but ultimately, we find where we need to be if we keep our eyes open for what really matters.”
The track is taken from their 12th studio album “Miracle Pill” and was described as “Potentially the biggest Dolls album released to date” by Planet Rock while Classic Rock thought that “Goo Goo Dolls are having an Indian Summer. Good work indeed.” Pop Matters went even further to say “While their contemporaries are usually satisfied with touring their hits and avoiding new music, Rzeznik and Takac continue to push the envelope, evolve their sound and release vital new music –Miracle Pill, is easily a high-water mark of the band’s career.”
The band are about to embark on a UK tour kicking off in Glasgow on February 19th and includes a show at London’s Roundhouse on February 27th. Rzeznik said “I love playing the UK, the audiences are amazing. We always have a blast so it’s a real pleasure to be coming back”
