Bloodstock 2017 – Interview with Dakesis

Feathers, flags and fabulous…

Birmingham prog metal outfit Dakesis were one of the more visually flamboyant bands to appear on the Hobgoblin New Blood Stage.

With singer Gemma a vision in pink feathers, the band ensured the crowd responded with equal enthusiasm by distributing flags to transform the tent into a mini Eurovision-style platform.

Having been invited to perform at Bloodstock the band cuddled up with Paul Castles on the Gibson tour bus the day after their appearance to explain  how even the onset of a band baby was not going to scupper their appearance at Catton Park.
